The Goop Of Super Mario Sunshine

Hello! Sam here to talk about Super Mario Sunshine. But, we're just gonna talk about the goop of it. That's right. If you've played before then you know that in certain levels require you to clean up goop or defeat a polluted piranha plant (pictured left).

There are different types of goops in the game and today I will be explaining them to you so you can know better when you see them and you know better on how to defeat them.

Common Goop
The first kind of goop is actually the easiest. Common Goop can be found anywhere except for secret worlds and levels. The kinds of Common goop are:
  1. Pink, Orange, Yellow (pictured above)
  • Appears in: Delfino Airstrip and Noki Bay
  • Hits: 3
  • Swoopin' Stuts?: No
  • Can Be Created By: Shadow Mario
     2.  Brown and White (pictured below)
  • Appears in: Delfino Plaza and Bianco Hills
  • Hits: 3
  • Swoopin' Stuts?: Yes
  • Can Be Created By: Shadow Mario
     3.  Black and White
  • Appears in: Delfino Plaza and Ricco Habor
  • Hits: 6
  • Swoopin' Stuts: Yes
  • Can Be Created By: Shadow Mario
Electro Graffiti
Electro Graffiti (pictured below) is similar to graffiti created by Shadow Mario except that it is only created by a Phantamana (pictured below) that leaves a trail of Electro Graffiti. If you touch the goop you will lose a point of life and be stunned for three seconds. Your best bet is to "spray and stay away".
Lava Graffiti
Lava-like Goop that gives Mario one point of damage on contact and send him flying up, just like regular Lava. It is only found in Pianta Village and produced by Chain Chomplets. Coo Coos also drop it in later Episodes. It also somehow reappears again in Episode 3 in which Mario had to successfully save the Mayor from the fiery inferno. The Goop is also seen in Episode 6 where Mario had to save the Piantas stuck under puddles of it. If Mario is caught in the center of a huge puddle of the Goop, he will most likely lose a life or be heavily damaged because of the chain of damage from flying up and landing again in it. It is orange-red and releases a spurt of flame every now and then. Shadow Mario creates it in Shadow Mario runs wild as he runs.
I hope this info was helpful and thank you to people who are looking and getting something out of this! This has been Sam (AKA The Gamer Fascination)
